About the Role:

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes across the organization. This role focuses on implementing continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, improve quality, and increase customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The Continuous Improvement Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and supply chain to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans that align with business objectives. By analyzing data and performance metrics, the Continuous Improvement Manager drives sustainable change and fosters a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that transportation and warehousing operations are agile, cost-effective, and capable of meeting evolving market demands.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement management or continuous improvement roles within transportation, warehousing, or logistics environments.
  • Proven expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and performance measurement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence and engage teams at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards relevant to transportation and warehousing.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or experience managing large-scale operational projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Continuous Improvement strategies and initiatives to improve operational processes within transportation and warehousing functions.
  • Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and waste identification to pinpoint inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement training sessions and workshops to educate employees at all levels on Continuous Improvement principles and tools for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to set performance targets, monitor progress, and report on key performance indicators related to Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, standardize best practices, and sustain Continuous Improvement culture across the organization.
  • Manage change by communicating effectively with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the impact of Continuous Improvement initiatives and continuously refine processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Drive overall business growth through championing continuous improvement efforts company wide.
  • Promote the Company's Vision and Core Values.
