About
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager. Who will effectively manage warehouse personnel. Excels at using proven methods to streamline the warehouse operations. Be assertive and enthusiastic. Work the frontline, clearly communicate with all levers and functions of the organization, as well as develop and implement improvements in warehouse processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure material is properly received, stocked, picked and shipped on time, every time.
- Maintain 100% accuracy for distribution center inventory.
- Ensure accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Includes maintenance of cycle counting.
- Escalate issues inhibiting the team from obtaining goals and business objectives.
- Work with team to continuously improve distribution center processes.
- Propose solutions for distribution center layout to optimize space and productivity.
- Manages inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet installation needs, maintaining cycle count accuracy (scrap/adjustments/variance/loss reduction)
- Calculates, picks & stages all necessary materials to meet installation goals;
- Oversees receiving and verifies freight against receiving documentation, noting discrepancies and/or damage and report findings
- Manages auditable records including but not limited to packing slips, pick lists, Inventory System Journal Entries, job close-out paperwork, warehouse safety audits, etc., ensuring documents are easily retrievable on demand
- Maintains a clean, safe, & orderly workplace, free of obstructions & hazards.
- Insures the security and proper management of the warehouse equipment and materials received and stored
- Responsible for inventory control procedures
- Responsible for following all handling and storage plans and procedures
- Maintains complete and accurate safety & hazmat records and complies with all appropriate standards
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees
- Forklift Certified
- Valid Drivers license
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
- Have the stamina to work long hours
- Must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or varying shifts.
Physical Activities and Demands
- Able to see and hear in the normal range, with or without correction
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form

- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
- Manual dexterity required using hands to finger; handle, feel and type; reach with hands and arms
- Strenuous: physically active the majority to entire shift including all within Moderate, lifting up to 75 pounds
- 10-hour workdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67, $85,000.00 per year
