Unarmed / Armed Security Guards

Omega Protective Services is hiring Security Guards for multiple assignments across residential communities and the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This is NOT a remote role.

As a Security Guard with Omega Protective Services, you will play a key role in maintaining safety, visibility, and order at our client properties. OPS officers are trusted to operate independently, exercise good judgment, and represent the company professionally while conducting patrols, observing and reporting activity, responding appropriately to incidents, and building trusting relationships with the client and community we serve.

Our operations emphasize proactive patrol, clear communication, accurate reporting, and professionalism. This role is well-suited for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured security environment.

Pay

• $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience, licensing, and assignment

Schedules Available

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts

Shift preferences and assignments will be discussed during initial contact and interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of residential communities and client properties
• Observe, document, and report suspicious or unsafe activity
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Provide professional customer service to residents and clients
• Complete accurate incident and activity reports
• Communicate effectively using two-way radio and company systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Guard Card or the ability to obtain one
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience

Equipment & Licensing

• Two-way communication equipment provided
• Personal duty gear (such as a duty belt, body armor, OC Spray/Case, Handcuffs/Case, Baton/Case) is preferred but not required*

*Equipment can be purchased at the time of initial hire.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
