We are looking for a stand-out, experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Our company culture allows for upward mobility opportunities through training, education, and succession planning.

Job Summary:

Assistant Project Managers help support Project Managers with various tasks during all stages of a project life cycle through plan and specification review, quantity takeoff, scope review, procurement, and construction documentation. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Project Setup including conforming of plans and specifications

· Scope review and quantity takeoff

· Preparation and issuance of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders as directed by Project Managers

· Maintain construction documents and permits

· Take notes and distribute meeting minutes as directed

· Provide administrative support to the project team as directed

· Assist with various documentation (i.e., pre-qualifications, invoices, change orders) as directed

· Provide onsite quality control as directed

· Provide onsite assistance to the PM and/or the Superintendent as directed

· This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role. Assistant Project Managers are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure their well-being and the safety of others. This includes, but is not limited to, the responsible handling of materials, and equipment, and adhering to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to assist multiple Project Managers with multiple projects.

· The candidate should have experience with or be able to learn specific document management and project management software (ex: Procore, Bluebeam, Submittal Exchange)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Education and Experience:

· Education: Associate degree in an applicable field is required, a 4-year degree is preferred.

· Experience: Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred. Experience in a fast-paced business environment is helpful.

· Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

· Strong teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $80,000.00 per year
