Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Summary

Our company is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate has prior factory or industrial sewing experience and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is an in-house employee position.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines (factory experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong hand-eye coordination, concentration skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to ___ pounds
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operate various industrial sewing machines efficiently and safely
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including:
• Replacing needles
• Threading machines
• Cleaning and routine care of sewing equipment
• Inspect and examine finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $27.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
