Position Summary:
The Uniform Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the full administrative operation of the Thunder Valley Casino Resort's uniform program. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient distribution processes, professional presentation standards, and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort's "ELITE" companywide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
Oversee job performance of Team Members to meet departmental standards. Ensure projects and daily assignments are completed accurately and in the most efficient manner.
Implement, monitor, and enforce company policies and procedures on a daily basis including, but not limited to attendance and progressive discipline.
Responsible for maintaining all equipment in the Uniforms Room such as sewing machines, washers, dryers, RFID heat seal machine, and garment bag conveyor.
Conduct interviews for Uniforms Team Member candidates, and participate in the training and coaching of Team Members as necessary.
Follow up with Team Members regarding dry cleaning discrepancies.
Ensure monthly inventories are completed.
Deliver executive dry cleaning and Venue uniforms.
Monitor and manage the Executive Services application.
Coordinate with the Internal Maintenance & Uniforms Manager to generate disposal reports and submit disposal requests on a monthly basis.
Inventory uniform arrivals, verify uniforms match purchase orders (PO), complete PO paperwork, and deliver uniforms to the Uniform Department.
Ensure uniforms needed for photo shoots are prepared in a timely fashion.
Coordinate with the Internal Maintenance & Uniforms Manager to prepare and process uniform purchase orders.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the uniform storage and work areas.
Ensure all Uniform Team Members provide professional and courteous assistance to Team Members regarding uniform requests, replacements, and questions.
Submit maintenance requests as needed.
Responsible for maintaining the Hazard Communication Standard for your area.
Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. One (1) year of experience in a commercial uniforms or laundry facility, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
Computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with HotSOS, JDEdwards, and Paycom is a plus.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to motivate, develop, and direct Team Members.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Requires the ability to use and carry job related equipment.
Must have the ability to handle, move, and carry linens.
Have an eye for detail.
Requires the physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged time periods.
