About This Role:

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, Mechanical at , you will be the driving force behind ensuring the mechanical systems of our data center construction projects are commissioned flawlessly. You will lead the development and execution of commissioning activities for mechanical systems, ensuring all critical infrastructure performs optimally and meets our stringent reliability standards. Your expertise will be vital in safeguarding the uptime and efficiency of our AI infrastructure, directly contributing to the success of our groundbreaking projects.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans for data center construction projects, with a primary focus on mechanical systems, including coordination with electrical and control systems.

  • Support and coordinate relationships with third party commissioning agents.

  • Oversee and execute the commissioning process for mechanical systems, from pre-functional testing through integrated systems testing and final acceptance.

  • Coordinate with design engineers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and commissioning of all systems.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of mechanical design documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with commissioning requirements.

  • Support commissioning schedules and resource plans, ensuring commissioning milestones are met.

  • Perform detailed functional testing and performance verification of critical mechanical systems, documenting results and addressing any deficiencies.

  • Identify, track, and resolve commissioning-related issues, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

  • Generate comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation, providing detailed records of testing and performance.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • You have extensive experience in commissioning critical infrastructure, particularly data center mechanical systems.

  • You possess a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to data center operations.

  • You have a proven track record of successfully executing complex commissioning projects.

  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • You have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for commissioning.

  • You are proficient in developing and executing commissioning plans and procedures.

  • You have experience with concurrent maintainability testing.

Compensation Range: Compensation will be paid in the range of $155,000 - $175,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
