Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations across multiple entities. This role will partner closely with management and employees to ensure compliance, consistency, and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a wide range of HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred)
- Support payroll processing, timekeeping, and benefits administration
- Assist with employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and performance documentation
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims, leave administration, and compliance tracking
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with HR audits, reports, and internal tracking logs
- Support safety, training, and certification documentation as required
- Perform additional HR and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience
- Experience in construction, trades, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Salary based on experience.
Must pass a Drug Screen and a Background Check. Must have references.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm; overtime as required.
