About

About SAS Service Partners

SAS Service Partners is a rapidly-growing home-services platform, dedicated to building a network of premier brands across the Sun Belt. With a focus on innovation and excellence, SAS Service Partners prioritizes attracting, developing, and advancing skilled professionals in the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades. By investing in talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, SAS Service Partners ensures exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview

The Corporate Development Analyst will play a core role in executing SAS Service Partners' acquisition strategy across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services. This position is designed for a highly analytical, execution-oriented professional who wants meaningful ownership over financial modeling, deal analysis, and acquisition pipeline management, while gaining direct exposure to sellers, senior operators, and executive leadership within a private equity-backed platform.

Working closely with business development and senior leadership, the Analyst will serve as the analytical backbone of SAS's M&A engine – supporting opportunities from initial target screening and valuation modeling through diligence support and internal investment presentations, with regular interaction and exposure to the firm's private equity sponsor. This is a hands-on role within a fast-growing platform that executes acquisitions at scale and values speed, rigor, and independent thinking.

This role offers a rare opportunity for early-career professionals to develop institutional-quality M&A skills inside an operating company, rather than as an external advisor, while seeing deals progress from first contact through close and integration.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition Analysis and Financial Modeling

Collect, clean, and standardize seller-provided financial and operational data; structure historical results into a clear, presentation-ready format for internal review.

Build and maintain financial models off normalized financials, including EBITDA adjustments, pro forma scenarios, and returns analysis to support underwriting decisions.

Deal Support and Seller Interaction

Work directly with business owners and management teams to request, organize, and clarify financial and operational information critical to underwriting.

Support management calls, diligence efforts, and internal investment discussions through accurate, deal-ready analysis.

Target Identification and Pipeline Development

Conduct proprietary market research to identify and prioritize acquisition targets across SAS's focus markets.

Own and maintain the acquisition pipeline tracker, ensuring accurate tracking of targets, outreach status, deal stages, and key financial and deal metrics.

Strategic and Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with operations, finance, and integration teams to assess strategic fit and post-close value-creation levers.

Present financial analyses, key findings, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and private equity investment team as appropriate.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (all majors welcome), with demonstrated interest in business, finance, or investing.

Experience: 1-3 years in private equity, investment banking, sales, consulting, or a similar business development or corporate development role.

Skill Set: Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to relationship building.

Mindset & Attributes: Highly motivated self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset, curiosity, and professionalism. Comfortable with cold outreach and confident interacting with senior executives.

Team Player: Collaborative, adaptable, and aligned with SAS's values of passion, persistence, and excellence.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software is a plus.
