Nurse Practitioner

Position: Nurse Practitioner – Functional Medicine
Location: Gentle Wellness Center – Fairfax, VA

Gentle Wellness Center in Fairfax, VA is dedicated to an integrative, functional, and holistic approach to wellness—treating each patient as a whole, not just a set of symptoms. Our center blends conventional medicine with advanced alternative therapies to support long-term healing and optimal well-being.

We are seeking an open-minded and compassionate Nurse Practitioner who embraces integrative medicine and values personalized, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is receptive, adaptable, and experienced in both traditional and alternative treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide integrative and functional medicine consultations and ongoing care.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that combine conventional and alternative therapies.
• Perform and oversee IV therapies, including high-dose Vitamin C and other wellness IV infusions.
• Manage and support patients undergoing Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT).
• Participate in the evaluation and treatment of complex conditions such as Lyme disease.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary wellness team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of safety and care.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Functional Medicine experience.
• Previous experience with IV therapies and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is required.
• Experience with Ozone Therapy is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, open-minded approach to patient care.
• Ability to adapt to alternate treatment methods and stay current with integrative medicine advancements.
