About

We are seeking a skilled dentist to join our established and thriving private practice in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, the new dentist will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our mission to serve the local community.

Compensation is a percentage of the adjusted production. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as an excellent retirement plan.

Professional Role

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to patients, promoting optimal oral health
  • Examine patients' teeth and diagnose oral diseases and conditions
  • Counsel patients on good oral health practice and proper care of teeth and gums
  • Perform various dental procedures, with a focus on diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and conditions related to oral health
  • Manage and treat dental trauma, such as cracked teeth
  • Collaborate with dental staff to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Write reports after exams and treatment plans, and provide necessary dental treatments, including fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns
  • Communicate regularly with dental specialists in a collaborative, collegial manner
  • Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and implement best practices
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities

Licensing Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted state dental license in Oregon

Other Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of general dentistry
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred, and demonstrates the ability to keep up-to-date with dental trends and technologies
  • Must have strong hand-eye coordination, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for communicating with patients and other dental professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic outlook with a desire to connect with our local community and support efforts to grow the practice.
