About
Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse and logistics infrastructure. You will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and minor repair of warehouse equipment, as well as assisting with operational tasks. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and Safety procedures is crucial. You will ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and safely, and that our facility adheres to strict Safety standards, including the mandatory use of PPE. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining a high-performance logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Conduct Safety inspections of equipment and the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all operations comply with Safety regulations and standards.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE by all personnel.
- Support the overall logistics operations and contribute to efficiency improvements.
- Document maintenance activities and inventory records accurately.
- Tasks may involve moderate Lifting and physical work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Thorough understanding of Safety procedures and the critical role of PPE.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to wear and utilize required PPE effectively.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks, including Lifting.
