Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Sort and place merchandise in designated staging areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counting.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Tasks may involve substantial Lifting of goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and prolonged standing.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to use required PPE.
