Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets using scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by comparing picked items against order details.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory control activities as needed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves, to ensure personal safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and moving packages up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of safety best practices within a logistics environment.
