Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse storage using order sheets or electronic devices.
- Ensure picked items match the order details in terms of product and quantity.
- Organize and stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Achieve individual and team performance goals for picking efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and lifting items up to 45 lbs.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to a supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Understand the importance of timely order fulfillment within the logistics flow.
- Ensure all work is performed with precision and care.
- Prioritize and practice workplace safety at all times.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift. Capability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics . Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE . Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
