Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming goods, ensuring all items match shipping manifests.
- Sort and place inventory in appropriate warehouse sections for optimal accessibility.
- Accurately pick items based on customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Operate manual and powered equipment for moving materials, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Assist in preparing outgoing shipments and staging them for carrier pickup.
- Uphold all company standards for productivity and quality control.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Regularly engage in lifting activities, with some items exceeding 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or similar physical labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for the duration of the shift.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems and warehouse procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a logistics environment that can vary in temperature.
- Must be equipped with and wear required PPE at all times.
