We are seeking an enthusiastic Order Picker for our distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is critical for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Read pick tickets or use an RF scanner to locate and gather specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items and quantities before proceeding to packing.
- Pack products carefully into appropriate containers, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, verifying all information.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to **safety** protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any stock discrepancies.
- Wear all required **PPE** and follow all **safety** guidelines.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the **logistics** team.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to **safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
