Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and stage materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Transport materials between different departments or storage locations within the facility.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
Requirements: All team members are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed footwear. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of materials. A working knowledge of warehouse Logistics and material flow is essential.
