Are you our next great Purchasing Manager?
We're looking for an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations. In this role, you'll oversee the purchasing department and be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
What You'll Do:
Procurement & Strategy
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals
- Ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality or timelines
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify and build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize value and reliability
Inventory & Budget Oversight
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and forecast needs with project managers
- Monitor purchasing budgets, ensuring cost control and identifying savings opportunities
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and company standards
- Maintain detailed records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance
Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, and support purchasing team members to ensure departmental success
Market Intelligence
- Stay current on industry trends, market fluctuations, and new products
- Use data to inform decisions and improve procurement processes
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate monthly purchasing metrics and branch-specific reports
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g. CPM, CPSM) is a plus. A minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the landscape or construction industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills along with leadership and team management skills. The ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions is required.

- Annual Salary $90,000 - $100,000
