The Role
We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the Corporate FP&A, Below the Line team. You will play a critical role in in driving strategic decision-making across the company. We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Manager to join our team, focused on compensation-related financial planning. This role will be pivotal in supporting eBay's incentive programs, equity compensation, and related financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quarterly and annual financial planning processes for bonus, stock-based compensation, merit, and other compensation related topics
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to project share count, share buyback impact on EPS, and dividend
  • Partner closely with the People Team to model compensation scenarios and support Merit planning
  • Collaborate with the Accounting for quarter-end close reporting
  • Support development of board and executive materials relating to compensation, including Compensation Committee materials
  • Support the quarterly earnings process
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements in compensation-related FP&A processes and tools
  • Manage ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership related to compensation strategy and cost impacts

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance or FP&A roles, with direct exposure to compensation and stock-based programs
  • Strong modeling skills and comfort with large data sets
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems (Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP, or similar)
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Prior experience supporting HR or Total Rewards teams is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record to partner effectively with various functions and levels within the organization
  • Ability to multitask and manage tight timelines

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:
$140,800 - $188,000
The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below:
$101,200 - $174,100
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
