Our team is looking for a Project Manager to join them. You will report to the Director, PMO and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA .
To be considered for the Project Manager opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in program/project management in an aerospace, engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A PMP or similar certification is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with schedule management software such as Microsoft Project.
- Ability to travel approximately 15-20% of the time as determined by project requirements.
As a Project Manager , you will:
- Lead transition teams and manage/drive assigned project-related activities (internally and externally) toward achieving scope, schedule, quality, and financial objectives.
- Participate in pre-award evaluations of potential business development opportunities.
- Own and manage projects starting with the initial approach through project closure and hand-off to functional departments, inclusive of the following tasks: planning; scheduling; integration; tracking; coordination; communication; financial/resource control; risk management; and reporting.
- Participate in licensor relationship management during the transfer process.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for existing departmental processes.

Compensation Pay Range
$120,000- $130,000/year, based on experience
