Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

• Provide psychopharmacological and psychiatric evaluation, treatment and consultation for behavioral health and substance use clients at Achieve Behavioral Health, Inc. consistent with ethical, evidence-based practices and best treatment guidelines and compassionate and recovery-oriented principles
• Work towards minimizing hospitalization and increasing hospital diversion and community solutions
• Provide consult on an urgent basis during office hours and maintain flexibility for occasional walk-ins
• Administer injectables and health monitoring, as needed

• Provide coverage for other psychiatric practitioners for when their clients come in for either urgent or if provider is away; the reverse is true as well
• Submit e-prescriptions for those needing refills on an urgent basis
• Maintain contact with treatment providers/therapists within the organization
• Be involved, as needed, in multiple other clinical/admin programmatic needs
• Be responsible to be "on-call" for the center at known and fixed times
