We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our leading manufacturing team in Syracuse, NY. Salary: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead cost-saving initiatives by introducing process flow improvements and implementing automation solutions.
- Enhance production processes through the documentation of procedures, the design of CNC tooling/fixtures, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to streamline operations and support production needs.
- Provide engineering support for cost estimate development and manufacturability assessments for new business opportunities.
- Execute leadership roles in improvement projects, mentoring junior engineers and guiding teams towards achieving operational excellence.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in engineering roles focused on process optimization, preferably within CNC and manual machining environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Advanced skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Background in automation and robotics within manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
