Project Architect

Our client, an architecture and planning firm, is looking for a licensed architect to join their team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Architect specializing in education projects with recent Division of the State Architect (DSA) experience. This is a fully onsite role based in Pasadena, CA. The position has been open for an extended period due to the difficulty in finding qualified candidates. The successful candidate must be highly proficient in Revit (non-negotiable), with CAD and Bluebeam experience preferred.

What You Will Bring

• 5–8+ years of experience across all project phases, from programming through construction documents

• Active California architectural licensure

• Experience with
K–12 (DSA), higher education, senior housing, and multi-family housing projects

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

• Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Recent professional experience working on projects in California

• High proficiency with
Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Photoshop, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Word, and Excel

• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented approach to work

Required Experience

• Recent, hands-on DSA experience is required
