As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our growth in the Managed Print Solution (MPS) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) sectors. You will bridge the gap between complex technology and business value, identifying new revenue streams and building consultative relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Opportunity Identification:
Conduct targeted market research to identify high-potential prospects and partners within the MPS/MSP landscape. - Consultative Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Deeply understand their business challenges to position our services as essential value-added solutions. - Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
Proactively source, qualify, and manage a robust sales pipeline. Maintain accurate data within the CRM to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities. - High-Volume Engagement:
Transition from training into a high-performance rhythm, consistently securing
8 qualified appointments per week
. - Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans that align with company objectives. Partner with the broader sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Market Leadership:
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking conferences to stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work alongside management and technical teams to ensure our messaging is consistent and our solutions are deliverable. - Performance Analytics:
Track and report on key KPIs—including conversion rates and revenue growth—providing data-driven recommendations for strategy optimization.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales or business development, specifically within the MPS or MSP industries. - Interpersonal Excellence:
Exceptional communication skills with an energetic, outgoing, and professional demeanor. - Technical Literacy:
A strong understanding of Managed Print and Managed IT service models, market trends, and the competitive landscape. - Analytical Mindset:
Ability to identify "pain points" and translate them into actionable business opportunities. - Tools:
Proficiency with CRM software and modern sales/marketing automation tools. - Drive:
A results-oriented mindset with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
