Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Coordinator & Prep Specialist to manage our culinary environments in St. George and Hurricane, Utah. This isn't just a "line cook" job; you are the heartbeat of our office culture. You will ensure our team stays fueled with fresh, intentional, and uplifting meals and snacks.
As a trusted contributor, you will maintain an organized, calm, and efficient kitchen where health and vitality are the top priorities.
What You'll DoDaily Food Preparation: Prepare fresh meals and snacks daily, ensuring fruit and vegetables are abundant and available for the team at all times.
Inventory & Logistics: Manage weekly grocery orders and receive deliveries at various times during the week. You will prioritize food usage to minimize waste and ensure the kitchen is always stocked.
Creative Collaboration: Test new recipes and work with our Creative team to capture and document the final results.
Organization & Sanitation: Maintain a "five-star" level of cleanliness. This includes labeling all food items, managing fridge/cabinet storage, washing dishes, and cleaning dining areas frequently.
Planning: Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager to plan menus at least one week in advance based on current stock and seasonal availability.
Cross-Location Support: Ensure high-quality service and food accessibility across both our St. George and Hurricane locations.
Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment.
Credentials: Must be 18 years or older with a valid Food Handlers Permit (or ability to obtain one).
Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Skills: Strong organizational skills and familiarity with healthy, whole-food preparation.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with task tracking tools or a willingness to learn.
Mindset: A self-starter who takes initiative, works well independently, and communicates effectively under time constraints.
