Delivery Driver

Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker at a leading furniture retailer This energetic role combines the thrill of delivering beautiful furniture to happy customers with the satisfaction of maintaining an organized, efficient warehouse. You'll be the friendly face representing our brand on the road, ensuring timely deliveries, exceptional customer service, and smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial box truck to deliver furniture items directly to customers' homes or business locations.
• Perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• Load and unload and assemble furniture. (Sofas, loveseats, tables, beds, etc) Ensure items are secure during transit.
• Follow designated delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with furniture placement, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon delivery.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company with courtesy and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records during warehouse activities.
• Assist with warehouse organization, including moving furniture within the facility to optimize storage space.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist in keeping warehouse, dock area and outside areas clean and organized.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, preferably with experience handling furniture or similar large items.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not required for all roles.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission.
• Ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving tools; certification is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Excellent route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
