Responsibilities
Develop complex embedded software systems as an individual contributor.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional and non‑functional requirements.
Create low‑level designs, implement and test solutions in line with the defined architecture.
Adhere to coding standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers.
Meet cost and schedule targets while contributing to technical reviews, bids & proposals and customer engagement activities.
Qualifications
Proficiency in C++ for embedded software development.
Experience with Python, C#, Rust or C.
Version control experience (e.g. Git, GitLab).
Strong object‑oriented design and programming skills.
Familiarity with development methodologies (V‑model, Waterfall, Agile).
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Mantis.
Track record of delivering reliable, maintainable software across the lifecycle, including peer review.
Strong communication, documentation and organisational skills.
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
