We are seeking a focused Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the correct items and quantities are picked, contributing to high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work at a fast pace. You will work closely with other members of the warehouse staff to ensure seamless order processing and shipment. The position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; all employees must adhere to company safety protocols and consistently wear the provided PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order sheets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to achieving daily picking targets and supporting logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and pick lists.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
