Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin! This role is crucial for efficiently and accurately fulfilling customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, picking the correct products and quantities, and then carefully packing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good manual dexterity, and is committed to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work with scanning equipment and adhere to established productivity targets. Safety is paramount; therefore, all team members are required to follow safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position offers a stable work schedule and opportunities for growth within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
  • Use scanning devices to ensure order accuracy and track inventory.
  • Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
  • Verify product information and quantities before packing.
  • Stage packed orders for loading and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including safe lifting and the use of PPE.
  • Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity goals.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics.
  • Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking and packing process.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow all safety instructions and wear required PPE.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
