About
Our Chicago, Illinois facility is looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our operations team. This role offers a comprehensive introduction to various warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and loading. You will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Teamwork and a willingness to learn are highly valued. This position is a foundational role in our logistics network, ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the receiving and unloading of shipments.
- Put away inventory in designated locations accurately.
- Pick items for orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and consistently use PPE .
- Participate in physical inventory counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all protocols.
- Understanding of general warehouse and logistics principles is a plus.
