Pay: $95,000 - $105,000 plus Shift Differential
Job Description:
The Evening Supervisor oversees the daily flow of patients through the division of Imaging Services, ensuring optimum use the technical staff and time during the evening shift. The Evening Supervisor will also be responsible for the well-running of the Patient Transport Department. The Supervisor will maintain records of equipment problems and initiate repair requests. They will also recommend the purchase of new or additional equipment to the Administrative Director.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily flow of patients through the division of Radiology during the evening, ensuring optimum use of the technical staff and time
  • Supervise the evening activities of all technologists and transporters
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with NYC, NYS, Federal and JCAHO
  • Maintain records of equipment problems, initiate repair requests, and recommend purchase of new or additional equipment to the Administrative Director
  • Order supplies in a timely manner
  • Aid the preparation of yearly performance appraisals in conjunction with the Administrative Director
  • Counsel and take necessary disciplinary action, as necessary, in consultation with the Administrative Director
  • Arrange staffing of radiological personnel to ensure coverage sufficient to meet patients needs
  • Assess patient needs and provide clinical intervention recognizing the age and psycho-social needs of patients undergoing procedures

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' previous experience as a Radiological Technologist
  • Licensed by NYS to practice as a Radiological Technologist
  • AART Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • United States
