The Center for PA Studies is seeking a full-time didactic faculty member.
The Center for PA Studies is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve in a year-round position in the didactic portion of our curriculum for our Master's degree program. Besides organization and delivery of academic content, the faculty member would be responsible for other tasks within the department including student advisement, student and programmatic assessment, admissions work, and other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates are PAs who are NCCPA-certified and have an unencumbered PA license or be license-eligible in New York State. Master's degree is required, and doctoral degrees in relevant fields are a plus. A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience is strongly preferred.
The Albany Medical College PA Program was founded in 1972 and has held continuous accreditation since that time. We matriculate 42 students per cohort, and have a strong track record of success in student retention, student satisfaction, and performance on the PA National Certifying Examination.
