Client Operations
The Client Operations team manages the full client experience from purchase to pay, including order processing, back‑order management, proactive communication, and problem resolution. The Inside Sales Associate, a key member of the team, provides administrative support to divisional sales teams and works closely with other departments to maintain the highest levels of client and teammate satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to all internal and external client queries to optimize sales activities. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client requests are picked up within relevant timescales. Ensure sales teams comply with Insight's policies and procedures. Communicate directly with distributors, chase and follow‑up items to ensure orders are shipped in line with requirements. Manage internal sales processes, including processing orders, contracts, quote generation, and conversion of maintenance renewals. Actively manage tickets, ensure escalation when appropriate, and update information on an ongoing basis. Manage online catalogues, ensuring pricing and parts are updated and correct for client visibility. Occasionally contribute data to sales pitches, requests for information, and proposals under guidance of the Inside Account Manager or Executive Account Manager. Undertake additional responsibilities reasonably requested by manager. Key Skills and Experience
Experience working within a high‑performing, fast‑paced, target‑driven environment. Relevant professional business administration qualification, accreditation, or certification. High level of written and spoken English. Confident, outward‑looking, proactive communicator. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); previous experience using administration and ordering systems (such as CRM). Excellent time management skills, ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines. General IT product knowledge of current information technologies. Articulate, numerate, and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation and with external clients. Experience working within a globally diverse environment, understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion. Ability to understand client needs and collaborate effectively with teammates. Previous working experience gained in a sales environment. Ability to learn new systems/processes quickly and effectively. Strong team player, proactive individual contributor. About Insight
