Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software to schedule maintenance tasks and document work performed.
- Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with other departments, and lead small teams when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal clients by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with electrical systems, including experience with schematics, CMMS software, and ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques is a plus.
- Supervising or leadership experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to document work clearly.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
