Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team in Annapolis, MD. The role involves handling various counseling, pre-litigation, and litigation-related matters, including drafting and filing motions, conducting legal research, managing written and document discovery, preparing for and attending court proceedings, managing depositions, and participating in trials.
Excellent research, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills are essential for this position, as is
collaboration with clients and other legal professionals.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Maryland Bar; experience in neighboring jurisdictions such as D.C. or Virginia is a plus
• 1-5 years of substantive litigation experience
• Understanding of and compliance with the Maryland Rules of Professional Responsibility, and any other applicable Rules of Professional Responsibility
• Familiarity with state and federal court systems, legal procedures, and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Salary Range:
$90,000 -- $130,000
