Assembler/Production
Position Summary :

Under the direction of the section lead, the assembler will gather all needed materials, parts, and hand tools and construct Personal Safety Partitions and/or High-Speed warehouse door systems according to CAD specifications.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., walking foot, double needle, bar-tack) to sew vinyl curtain panels, hems, and reinforcements.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble vinyl materials according to job specifications or work orders.
  • Install grommets, Velcro, zippers, and other hardware or fasteners as needed.
  • Ensure all stitching meets quality and durability standards for industrial use.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or cut sheets related to curtain fabrication.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance (e.g., threading, oiling, needle changes).
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to identify process improvements or troubleshoot defects.
  • Assist in packaging and preparing finished curtains for shipment when needed.

Abilities, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  1. Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  2. Strong mechanical aptitude with prior manufacturing/sewing experience preferred

  3. Must be able to accurately read and use various measuring devices

  4. Ability to read prints is helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
