How this position fits at

We are hiring a Lead Full Stack Developer who will guide a small, talented dev team by writing code alongside them, coaching through 1:1s, and helping drive engineering outcomes through structure and accountability -- ideal for someone who wants to lead
and
build.

As the Lead Full Stack Developer, you will work fully in-house at our headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona during your training period of 60-90 days. Following the training period, you will have the option to work remotely two days/week.

You will write high-quality code and lead the development team through mentorship, architectural guidance, and people leadership. This hands-on role is responsible for technical execution and team management, including tracking team performance and supporting team growth while maintaining technical excellence.

Primary responsibilities include:

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain e-commerce and internal systems that impact customers and colleagues.
  • Act as a technical and team lead, guiding project direction, feasibility, and architectural decisions.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and quarterly meetings with developers to support their growth, clarify priorities, and build alignment.
  • Ensure high-quality code and a collaborative team culture through effective team processes.
  • Track and support team accountability through weekly scorecards and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improving systems, processes, and tooling used across the team.
  • Maintain and extend web infrastructure, including back-end databases, libraries, APIs, and shared tools.
  • Troubleshoot and solve challenging system issues for both customers and internal users.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive code documentation and team reference guides.
  • Be responsible for team performance, hiring, and career development.
  • Respond quickly to emergency issues during and outside of business hours, demonstrating accountability and ownership.
  • Will take on other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
