Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Responsible for creating and revising 2D drawings, 3D models, bills of materials and routers.
- Reviews design packages for accuracy and manufacturability to TMP engineering standards.
- Issues Engineering Change Notices and maintains appropriate records.
- Maintains issues forms for engineered items.
- Acts as the first point of contact for the shop floor for any engineering related questions when assigned.
- Conducts inspections such as 1st piece, rework and final.
- Trouble shoots various issues in an efficient manner.
- Programs CNC press and develops fixtures and programs for robotic welders.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Education and/or Experience
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate's degree,
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and
- 2-3 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing department.
Other Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Solid Edge and creating equipment programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of fabricating, welding, powder coating and assembly processes.
- Proficient use of measuring equipment such as tape measure, calipers and square.
- Proficient blue print reading and record keeping skills.
- Problem solving, root cause analysis and ability to make decisions.
Language Skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
