Computer Forensic Analyst

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examinations, including data recovery, analysis, and interpretation of digital evidence from computers, servers, mobile devices, and cloud environments
• Ensure forensic procedures adhere to industry best practices, including maintaining proper chain-of-custody documentation
• Assist in designing investigation strategies based on case requirements and scope
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities, breaches, or suspicious activities
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings clearly for legal and compliance purposes
• Stay current with developments in digital forensics, cybercrime, and investigative techniques

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 1 year relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of digital forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and meticulous documentation practices
• Strong communication skills for reporting and potential expert testimony.

Additional Preferred Qualificatins and Skills

• Experience in electronic discovery, cyber investigations, or related fields
• Background in cybersecurity
