Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, efficiently managing food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is a plus. This role requires strong multitasking skills, familiarity with POS systems, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy using retail math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Assist with catering, banquet service, or special event setups as needed
- Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant server, bartender, or catering staff preferred
- Fine dining experience or banquet experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Experience working in nightclubs or food industry environments is a plus
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order processing are essential
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service requirements
