Position Summary

Greenway Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Controller to oversee and manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is comfortable working in a growing, multi-state organization and partnering closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks is a strong plus, as Greenway operates in a dynamic construction/service environment with evolving financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow tracking
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for leadership decision-making
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes, workflows, and documentation
  • Coordinate with external partners including auditors, tax professionals, and banking institutions
  • Assist with system management and optimization within NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
  • Support job costing, WIP tracking, and reporting (construction/service environment experience preferred)

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or controller-level experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks; NetSuite experience highly preferred
  • Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Construction, service, or project-based accounting experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $110,000.00 per year
