Junior Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects, analyzing proposals, and supporting our senior estimators and project managers. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in growing within the construction and plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for residential and commercial plumbing projects
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope of work
• Perform material takeoffs and gather pricing from suppliers
• Help create bid packages and submit proposals within deadlines
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and field teams to ensure accurate pricing
• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and pricing history
• Learn and use company software to generate estimates and manage data
• Support the estimating team with administrative and research tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (preferred or required—your choice)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read or learn to read construction plans and specifications
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Proficient with computers; experience with Excel preferred
• Willingness to learn estimating software and industry processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or estimating is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52, $63,126.24 per year
