Part Time Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Part-Time Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a Section 8 / HUD-assisted property. This position is ideal for someone familiar with affordable housing requirements who is looking for a flexible, part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of a Section 8 property
• Ensure compliance with HUD and Section 8 regulations
• Communicate with residents regarding leases, notices, recertifications, and concerns
• Coordinate annual and interim recertifications
• Work with Housing Authorities as needed
• Oversee maintenance requests and ensure timely completion
• Assist with rent collection, reporting, and file compliance
• Maintain accurate tenant files and property records
• Ensure units are rent-ready and meet inspection standards

Qualifications:

• Previous Section 8 or affordable housing experience preferred
• Knowledge of HUD regulations, certifications, and compliance
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, property management software)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional and resident-focused attitude
