Job Summary:

Our large, state-of-the-art medical center is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician to support our physicians and nurses in delivering exceptional gastrointestinal care. The Endoscopy Technician is a caregiver who assists the endoscopy team in the scrub role during endoscopy procedures and assists in the preparation of the endoscopy suite area between cases. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and supplies as well as scope cleaning.

As a vital member of our endoscopy team, you'll play a hands-on role in preparing procedure rooms, assisting during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for our patients. Location: Englewood, NJ

Status: FT Shift: Days

Hours: 8am-6pm flex - on call required

Job Essentials:

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Endoscopy setting
• Experience in endoscopic reprocessing and management of scopes; knowledgeable regarding infection control standards.
  Strong service excellence skills and must be a team player

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical schooling preferred.
  SGNA Technical course required if no technical school and no endo experience

Licenses, Registrations & Certifications:

• BLS Certification
  SGNA course to be taken if no experience; CEFR Certification required within 2 years of hire
