The Trailer Factory is a privately owned, manufacturer of high quality portable restrooms located in Huron Park, Ontario.
Our focus is to provide the best products and solutions to the sanitation industry. From design, fabrication to finishing, we complete all tasks internally.

We are looking for an organized, motivated individual who takes pride in their work and wants to join a team-oriented group. Responsibilities include parts order fulfillment, unit shipments, load preparation and material transfers between buildings. The ability to safely and effectively operate material handling equipment (fork truck, tractor, payloader) is also required.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, learning our products and processes as they go, and spotting what needs to be done next while always looking for improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
The Shipper/Receiver will report to our Shipping/Logistics Supervisor.
Complete "Stock Prep Lists" from provided pick lists with a high degree of accuracy
Put away all incoming shipments
Complete physical inventory counts from provided count sheets to maintain accuracy within our ERP system
Operate fork truck, tractor, payloader and other equipment as required
Occasionally drive company vehicles for various purposes (including towing trailers)
Complete faulty/damaged inventory reports and prepare items for return/disposal per Purchasing Department instructions
Complete snow removal as required (snow-blower, payloader with blade, shovel, etc.)
Complete transfers between departments (ie. Plant 1 Weld Shop to Plant 3 Weld Shop)
Accurately pick customer parts orders from a picking list
Offer exceptional customer service during all customer relations
Maintain in-plant storage, ensuring cleanliness and functionality for all employees
Complete general maintenance tasks as required (ie. Greasing equipment, floor cleaning, etc.)
Complete work outdoors, including during winter months and in varying weather conditions
Qualifications
We welcome both entry-level candidates and experienced shipper/receivers. Training will be provided for the right individual with a strong work ethic and attention to quality. Some additional qualities we look for include:
Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge on products, part numbers and processes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and identify next steps without constant supervision
Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
Dependable, punctual and takes pride in reliable attendance
Strong commitment to safety, quality and good housekeeping
Basic knowledge of trailer/restroom products
Comfortable towing trailers of various sizes
Willingness to work overtime based on operational needs
Valid "G" driver's licence with a clean drivers abstract
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
