The impact you'll make
As a Technical Instructor at Lam, you'll conduct dynamic technical training for customers and employees. You'll craft course content specifications and engaging lesson plans. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you ensure alignment with the latest product features. Through a blend of classroom lectures, online formats, and hands-on laboratory sessions, you'll deliver impactful instruction. Join us in shaping a skilled workforce and advancing innovation at Lam.
What you'll do
- Instruct people from all levels of the organization, customers and others, who need to know about the entire product range; in the internal training center and world-wide; directly on location of the customer
- Apart from training courses you are also responsible for the preparation of detailed training course documentation, certification programs and furthermore also for the support of our training participants
- Conduct technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products.
- Interact with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses
- Prepare lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Work with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features
- Instruct participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions
- Follow up to determine applicability of course material
Who we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years related experience with a technical Bachelor's Degree
- If you hold a technical Masters Degree, please apply even without any relevant working experience
- Equivalent work experience without an academical education would be an alternative
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years' experience semiconductor manufacturing processing equipment
- High level mechanical aptitude required
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking in front of an audience
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group F. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year. Please follow the link below in the Employment in Austria section for further information.
