Project Manager
to join our team in

Job description
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and managing the field staff on various construction sites.
Conduct meetings with the consultant team to develop the project drawings and specifications to meet the requirements of the owner throughout the permit and project construction process.
Maintain records of purchase and change orders for accounting department.
Conduct meetings and work closely with the site superintendent, project coordinator, consultants, and trades to ensure timelines, budgets, standards of the construction project are met from start to finish.
You will be required to ensure deadlines are met, production reports correctly filled out and submitted, trouble shoot and problem solve when issues arise. You will also be a mentor and trainer to the field staff.
A strong commitment to safety is required. The Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the Health and Safety Program on site. The PM will ensure all safety rules and regulations are adhered to and documented as required.
This is also a customer service role as you will be representing the company in the field, you will be required to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and staff members.
Essential Skills
As our Project Manager you will have a strong construction background with a minimum of 5 years project management experience in a similar field.
Experience in shoring, tiebacks, and foundation piles would be considered an asset. You posses management and organizational skills with an ability to lead the team to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.
You will have a thorough understanding of relevant safety legislation and safe industry practices and take ownership of the safety culture on site.
You should be able to plan the work according to the priority standards, so that it is completed within the established budget and given time. You will need effective communication skills with a vision to develop innovative plans to ensure better productivity. You will have the skill and knowledge of the construction industry required to train the field staff, and be able to identify and correct issues.
Due to the nature of the position, a valid G licence and clean drivers abstract is required.
