Job Title: AZ Truck Driver
Location: Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd.

Pay Range: $25-$29 per hour

Vanden Bussche Irrigation is seeking a reliable and experienced full-time AZ Truck Driver to join our growing team. This role is critical to the safe and timely delivery of irrigation equipment and materials to customer and job sites across our service area.

Position Details:

• Hourly wage, with overtime paid after 44 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
• Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate AZ-class commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks with oversize loads
• Deliver irrigation equipment, materials, and supplies to customer locations and job sites
• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring materials are secured and handled safely
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete all required inspection reports
• Perform general vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
• Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation regulations, company policies, and safe operating procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Work independently while also collaborating effectively with warehouse, logistics, and field staff as required
• Represent Vanden Bussche Irrigation in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and the public

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid AZ driver's license with a clean driving abstract
• Flatbed and oversize load experience is required
• Strong knowledge of load securement practices and transportation safety standards
• Forklift experience considered an asset
• Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing 50 lbs or more
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
