Overview The Governance and Experience Algorithm team, established in September 2020, supports businesses with advanced AI technology to:
Combat risks and violations in E-commerce scenarios.
Build an E-commerce ecosystem and enhance platform service capabilities.

Responsibilities
Identify algorithms for risk, violation, and low-quality issues in e-commerce, including products, shopping carts, short videos, and live streaming.
Develop algorithms to detect fraudulent behaviors and identify risky or low-quality merchants and creators.
Optimize algorithms for large-scale brand libraries, product deduplication, and clustering.
Work on data construction, instruction fine-tuning, CoT, and alignment for large models in e-commerce.
Explore reinforcement learning and operational research algorithms to improve audit quality and efficiency.
What You Will Do
Enhance algorithms in NLP, vision, multimodal, search, graph, LLM, etc., supporting governance in e-commerce scenarios.
Improve computer vision models for product image classification, object recognition, logo detection, and brand recognition.
Optimize multimodal content understanding for e-commerce videos and live broadcasts.
Refine risk identification models for text content and public opinion content related to products and videos.
Research large-scale multimodal algorithms and implement solutions in e-commerce contexts.
Extract and model extensive data from e-commerce entities to support content understanding and community mining.
Participate in building a large-scale graph storage and learning platform supporting billions of nodes and edges.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
Proficient in Python, Go, or C++, with solid coding skills in a Linux environment.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, machine learning, and deep learning, with practical experience.
Familiarity with 1-2 areas such as NLP, computer vision, multimodal, graph algorithms, search, or LLM.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in platform governance, risk control, content security, or overseas internet/e-commerce is a plus.
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) is preferred.
Experience studying, working, or living overseas is preferred.
Additional Information Base salary range: $129,200 - $194,750 annually. Compensation varies based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and more. Candidates in Los Angeles County will be considered in accordance with local laws regarding criminal records.
